Here is your guidelines for renewing your Philippine Passport at the Philippine Embassy London 

The unprecedented Covid 19 has a major impact to the society and to the operations of many organizations. Philippine Embassy is now operating a different system in comparison to pre Covid where we can walk in, get our number in the queue and wait to be serve. One of the ways Philippine Embassy adapt to the new normal is by implementing an appointment only service.

You can renew your passport 6 months prior to expiration so please book your appointment as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. As you can see in the image below, the availability can get booked up easily, so the earlier you book, the better. You can book from Mondays – Fridays from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. One appointment per person, per service.

What application form do you need for the renewal of your Philippine Passport at the London Embassy?

Adults

On the day of your appointment please make sure you’ve got every document with you as they don’t have any photocopy machine in the embassy. 

What do you need to take to your appointment at the London Embassy for the renewal of your Philippine Passport? 

These are the items that you should take with you when you go to your appointment.

  1. Original Passport
  2. Photocopy of bio data page
  3. Completed application form
  4. Self-addressed, stamped, registered return envelope ( you can get this in your nearest post office. This is basically where they are going to put your passport to return to you by post so make sure you write your address properly)
  5. Debit or credit card – they do have a cashless policy

It is also handy to bring your own pen and make sure you are dress accordingly. Do not wear sleeveless, spaghetti straps, plunging necklines or similar attire. Earrings, necklace and col red contact lens are not allowed during photo capture. 

How long does it take for the release of a new passport from the Philippine Embassy in London?

The waiting period for the release of new passport still varies but we got mine just over 3 weeks after the appointment.
